John is a self-taught, full-time
contemporary photographer, with a fun and informal easy manner. His
natural photography springs from creating an enjoyable stress-free
experience. Children playing together, families, adults produce
treasured images when relaxed and with texture and context relative
to their lives. This is why each commission is unique and shot in

He started photography at 14 using film, with a curiosity of how cameras captured images with great impact. As a teenager, the landscape of Scotland inspired a love of the land, people, light and beauty which remains to this day. Now turned forty one and with a family of his own, photography is a creative passion.
