  • Summer Garden Flora and Fauna

Here are more summer garden flora and fauna photographs. Getting in close with my specialised macro lens really brings the little world out to a larger scale. In such a vibrant time the garden is full of textures, colour and beasties like ladybird, flies and more. Lots to enjoy.

  • Ochil woodland

The woods behind Alva and Tillicoultry offer great views of the surrounding Forth valley and the surrounding woodland. It is and easy ramble anyone can do with several routes and good paths. See Ochil Woodland 2

  • Plants up close

I often find it rewarding to fit a macro lens to the camera and get up close to plants in the garden. There is a lot of detail and beauty which normal human vision cannot see unaided. So this is a collection taken in June.   See Plants up close 2

    Getting closer part 2

Part two of a fruitful photography session in the garden.

  • Squirrel, rain and garden colour
