Some more photographs from the Ochil woodland above Alva and Tillicloultry.

This page is a listing of my Landscape photography as published on this site. They are views, feelings, atmospheres that felt worthy of a landscape photograph. They are not necessarily the best shots, but nice to cast an eye over or dwell upon.

The woods behind Alva and Tillicoultry offer great views of the surrounding Forth valley and the surrounding woodland. It is and easy ramble anyone can do with several routes and good paths.

A small collection of made in wood (except one).
More shots in the Lochaber area on Scotland’s north-west coast.
This beach is on Scotland’s north-west coastline and was the location for the wonderful movie Local Hero. On this visit the weather was dreich, as a gloomy low pressure system lingered all day. I love coastlines and can easily spend a whole day wandering along the beach and rocks because there is always something interesting to shoot. Texture, movement, colour and light. Long beaches can also aid dramatic compositions, unlike woodland.
