Sunday is the day of races from F1, F2 and GP3 and crowds are frantic to catch a good spot so an early rise at 5am is necessary. I refused to break into a run carrying two chairs and camera bag at 5:55am on a Sunday just for a good spot. Nevertheless a great spot was found three rows from the fence on the home straight within elevated sight lines of three jumbotron screens. At race start there were 14 rows of chairs behind and lots of people standing behind them.
In any case there are too many shots and video clips for one posting, one final post to go.

As for the huge crowd, they were a good laugh egging-on the presenters and anyone driving, walking, cycling, jogging across the finish line at any time of the broadcast.

I have visited a few Formula 1 Grand Prix, but this was my first British GP and lasted five days. What a spectacle of cars. What an audible experience. One hundred and forty thousand vocal fans pushing-on their driver at this old military airfield. This is the first selection from Thursday’s F2 practice sessions.
