I love getting a close up shot of mother nature which you can see in this collection from the Archives. You get a close-up view of the little world in these photographs. Shots range from creative views of bugs, plants, water and almost all of them are not visible from head height.
Plants up close
I often find it rewarding to fit a macro lens to the camera and get up close to plants in the garden. There is a lot of detail and beauty which normal human vision cannot see unaided. So this is a collection taken in June.

Getting closer
Once again we get intimate with mother nature’s children. Using and old and trusty Canon 100mm f2.8 macro lens we see more beauty, design and awe that we miss from our lofty heights. (more…)
