I often find it rewarding to fit a macro lens to the camera and get up close to plants in the garden. There is a lot of detail and beauty which normal human vision cannot see unaided. So this is a collection taken in June.

Poppy up close
My adorable Golden Retriever, Poppy tends to treat any photo shoot with a turn of her head away from the lens. So you really need to work hard and patiently to capture Poppy up close.
