Photography on a sunny Sunday morning around South Portland street suspension bridge in Glasgow. Just upstream and east from Pacific Quay. St Andrews Cathedral overlooks the river Clyde and the bridge.
Pacific Quay Photographs
Crikey jings…two posts in one day! This was an early shoot catching sun rising over the arched roof of the Glasgow Science Museum surrounded on three sides by the river Clyde in these Pacific Quay photographs.
Pacific Quay photographs Summer around Gartmorn dam
I know its summer and this being a very wet one so dry and sunny pictures are scarce. So from 2011 enjoy these summer photographs around Gartmorn dam near Alloa, Clackmannanshire. The dam is an emergency backup water reserve should the many dams higher-up in the Ochils should run dry. Hah! Like thats ever going to happen.
Over the past many years I have many photographs of the wildlife and greenery around this little heaven of nature. Each visit tells you how the seasons are constantly putting an arm around mother nature and helping her flow through the year. In all weathers.
A Summer Flowering Garden
A collection of mid-summer flowering in the garden with a scottish twist…rain drops. Its been a wet summer so far with few bug invasions apart from a bampot of catepillars destroying a pot of Night Scented Stock. I’ve planted more vegatables than flowers this year; potato, peas, broccoli, lettuce, melon, cucumber, tomato, carrot, garlic and rhubarb. This is a small collection of flower and veg close-ups.
